Robin Hey Cottage, is situated within the beautiful grounds of the former Tanners mill in Greenfield near Oldham
The cottage was the rented home of the mills manager who had lived there for a period of over 40 years.
When he vacated the home the new owners of the mill estate chose to refurbish and modernise the cottage to complement their existing holiday centre Dovestone Park, situated within the grounds of the mills.
School's & Higher Education
Refurbishment and conversion of 2 blocks
JCT Design & Build contract
Works included: Mechanical & Electrical, flooring, decoration, new kitchens, bathrooms and installation of structural RSJ’s.
To ensure successful delivery, the project was assigned a dedicated site manager and had regular visits from the contract manager.
This new space provided a new school location for them to relocate from.

- All works within a live operational building.
- Works phased to ensure the building remains operational.
- Works included: A refurbishment of the surgery including a rear & side extension.
- The works included, mechanical and electrical, decoration, flooring & groundworks.
- Dedicated site and visiting contracts manager for this project to ensure this project was a success.
